Bios
Barbara Wellner has an extensive career in creating, developing and producing a wide variety of television programming. She has worked with many of the cable and broadcast networks overseeing literally hundreds of hours of original programming.
Barbara was on the team that developed and launched FX, the largest launch in cable history. As Senior Producer, she was involved with establishing the philosophy and identity of the channel and overseeing the original programming. It was at FX where she discovered Tom Bergeron, Jeff Probst and Phil Keoghan.
She went on to become Vice President of Programming at 2Oth Television, in charge of developing talent and original programming for network, syndication and cable. During her tenure, she was part of a team which developed over 30 projects and produced and managed over 100 hours of television.
As a producer she has developed and produced shows for CBS/King World, Sci-Fi Channell, TLC, IFC, BET, Telepictures, E!, Style, VH-1 and Fox Reality Channel. These shows include: The Soup, Style Court, Reality Remix, Celebrity Jury, Dream Team, Breakfast Time, and Judge Mooney.
Karen Melamed started her career as an associate producer in public television where she wrote and produced news and talk. She then went to Baltimore to produce for for a local live morning talk show called “People Are Talking” co-hosted by an up and coming talent named Oprah Winfrey. Karen became the show's producer and then was show-runner for several other number one rated shows from Seattle to Boston. After working her way up the ladder in local television, she was asked to join Winfrey as a producer on her nationally syndicated talk show, “The Oprah Winfrey Show” where she produced many of Oprah's top rated episodes.
After moving to Los Angeles, Karen was involved with the start-up and production of a variety of shows that aired on ABC and various syndication companies. She created, developed and sold shows for KingWorld/CBS, Fox, Buena Vista/Disney and Telepictures/Warner Bros., where she also found and developed hosts and on-air talent. She was Executive Producer of 2 top rated court shows “Texas Justice” and “Judge Alex” for 20th television and consulted on shows for Paramount, 20th Television and BET.

LeGrande Green is a seasoned TV veteran who has supervised several teams of producers at The Oprah Winfrey Show and Sally Jessy Raphael. The recipient of four Daytime Emmy Awards, Green garnered praise and an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding News/Talk Documentary for "Unsolved Hate Crimes of the Civil Rights Movement." In his eight years at The Oprah Winfrey Show, he rose from his initial position of associate producer to Supervising Senior Producer, one rung below the top spot of Executive Producer. At Sally, he spearheaded the campaign to rejuvenate that long-running show, bringing in a new format and higher ratings. A graduate of Princeton University, Green began his TV career producing talk shows at Seattle's KING-TV.
